SCHOOL LUNCH
By: Kim Dovel
Our lunch lady, Vickster McNeal,
cooked a crazy concoction for our school meal.
She licked the spoon; it made her choke.
Her hair stood up; her nostrils smoked.
Her toes curled up; her mouth spewed fire.
Her false teeth plopped right into the fryer.
Cook Crain raced in to help McNeal.
She did five flips and one cartwheel.
“No worries; I’m here,” Cook Crain did say.
“I’ll serve lunch and save the day!”
She stirred the pot; it made her scream.
Her eyebrows melted from scorching steam.
It was the craziest thing we’d ever seen.
Our school lunch was some wild cuisine!
